PEPn™ Online is our full-featured, on-demand subscription service. PEPn™ Online
is designed to meet the unique and varied needs of venture firms, investment banks,
private equity firms, family offices, Angels Groups, etc. PEPn™ Online enables and
automates the collection of fundamental tracking data
directly from prospects and/or portfolio companies.
Submitted data can be independently updated in real time by
entrepreneurs. Submitted data can be accessed via a web browser or electronically
delivered via XML connector to in-house or 3rd party administrative software applications.
PEPn™ Online takes a "powered by" implementation approach.
As such, PEPn™ sits behind and supports our clients’ brand franchise. In addition, PEPn™ Online
deployments are customized to meet the specific data collection and tracking
requirements of each deploying firm.
Implementing and enabling PEPn™ Online takes just two links on a client’s web
site. One link allows entrepreneurs to enroll and obtain the login credentials
needed to access the application. The second link provides entrepreneurs with the
actual login location used to submit and update their data. PEPn™ Online implementations
can be completed in just 1 – 2 days depending upon the degree of desired customization.
Each enrolling entrepreneur on a given PEPn™ Online deployment is provided with a
unique and secure data room. Each data room contains a HTML summary profile template
(specified by the deploying firm) and a "Secure File Room™".
Entrepreneurs submit
summary tracking information via the online HTML profile which can be supplemented by
the uploading of detailed file attachments in the Secure File Room™. Entrepreneurs
can submit and update their information as needed or more importantly as specified by
their investors. Changes made by entrepreneurs are reflected in real time.
By establishing a "standard" set of metrics, venture firms, et al can streamline their
pre and post investment screening and tracking processes. The submission of data
directly by entrepreneurs in the format that the deploying firm specifies eliminates
the need to re-key data and reduces the complexities associated with version control.
With PEPn™ the entrepreneur manages "one instance" of data which is accessed by
authorized users.
PEPn™ Online users can independently issue usernames and manage their associated
entitlements. Usernames can be issued to internal staff and potentially to external
investors, Board members, etc. Each authorized username can be assigned a unique set
of entitlements. Firms can increase or decrease the level of transparency by expanding
or contracting entitlements. In addition, firms can specify the exact number of
opportunities any username may access. For example, one internal username may be granted
permission to access all enrolled opportunities while another is allowed to access just
a single opportunity.
PEPn™ Online provides deploying firms with comprehensive audit and tracking tools.
PEPn™ tracks changes made to any data room in the change history log.
In addition, PEPn™ provides firms with visibility regarding which usernames have
viewed information for a given data room and which files have been downloaded.
PEPn™ Online is a hosted solution and only requires that a user have access to the
internet and a web browser. There are no software downloads or plug-ins required to
use PEPn™ Online.
